Advisory Council of Past Presidents
Immediate Past President
Overview of the Advisory Council of Past Presidents:
The purpose of the Advisory Council of Past Presidents is to provide advice and counsel to the Board of Directors. The goals include to suggest improvements to the membership and Board and to reflect opinions and thoughts of membership to the board.
Awards Committee
Overview of the Awards Committee:
The Awards Committee recommends recipients for Association awards to the Board of Directors; recommends policies on awards; monitor procedures for committee awards; and recommends the establishment of new awards. In pursuit of these goals, the Awards Committee seeks out and receives nominations for awards; coordinates the awards nomination process; recommends award recipients; and reviews awards criteria and processes annually in order to make recommendations for any changes.
Budget and Finance Committee
Overview of the Budget and Finance Committee:
The purpose of the Budget and Finance Committee is to review income and expenditures of the Association as well as to recommend an annual budget and sound fiscal policies.

Antioch University
Overview of the Committee on Inclusiveness:
The Committee on Inclusiveness will work to create an organizational culture within ACHE that embraces all individuals and institutional types. Inclusiveness of individuals requires an organizational culture that supports and enhances professional development and leadership opportunities regardless of race, age, ethnicity, creed, disability, gender, or sexual orientation. Diverse institutional types include but are not limited to two-year and community colleges, technical colleges, colleges outside the United States, HBCUs, tribal colleges, and Hispanic-serving institutions. The Committee will provide guidance to the Board in support of strategic planning.
Conference Planning Committee
Overview of the Conference Planning Committee:
The Conference Planning Committee aims to plan the program for the ACHE Annual Conference and Meeting. The goals of this committee are planning the financial, logistical, and programmatic goals of the conference. The committee collaborates to establish the master schedule, exhibitor partnerships, and conference center accommodations.
Conference Proposal Review Committee
Overview of the Proposal Committee:
This committee is responsible for evaluating and selecting proposals submitted for presentation at the annual conference. The committee plays an important role in ensuring the quality, relevance and diversity of the presentations selected for the conference.
Conference Proceedings Committee

College for Financial Planning
Overview of the Proceedings Committee:
The purpose of the Conference Proceedings Committee is responsible for preparing the official copy of the Annual Conference, in accordance with Board Policy. This includes collaborating with Conference Day Chairs, the Program Chair, and the Home Office to gather and catalog summaries of keynote presentations, concurrent session presentations, and any relevant committee reports. Additionally, the Proceedings Committee will work closely with the Home Office to finalize the layout, conduct additional edits, and publish the Proceedings online.
Constitution and Bylaws Committee
Overview of the Constitution and Bylaws Committee:
The purpose of the Constitution and Bylaws Committee is to review proposed legislative matters of the Association and pass on the legality. The main goals of the committee include to assist the membership and Board of Directors in drafting Constitutional and Bylaws amendments, rule on the legality of proposed Constitution and Bylaws amendments, and arrange for codification of legislative actions of the membership and Board of Directors.
Council of Regional Leadership
Overview of the Council of Regional Leadership:
The Council of Regional Leadership is comprised of those individuals elected to office in their respective ACHE regions. The purpose of the council is to provide a vital communication link between the regional leadership and ACHE's international leadership. Additionally, regional chairs will serve in a critical role as members of the Membership Recruitment and Retention Committee.

Overview of the Membership Recruitment and Retention Committee:
The purpose of the Membership Recruitment and Retention Committee is to build membership through effective recruitment activities and to retain members through effective services. Additionally, the committee assists in determining the degree to which membership services (annual conference and meeting, regional meetings, publications and communications) are meeting the needs of members.
Nominations & Elections Committee
Overview of the Nominations and Elections Committee:
The purpose of the Nominations and Elections committee is to recommend capable people for officers and directors of the Association and, in conjunction with the Home Office, to conduct the annual election. The goals include to encourage membership to submit candidates for office, maintain a list of individual service to the Association, provide a slate of qualified and able persons for Officers of the Association, and conduct an open and effective election.
Research Committee

Overview of the Research Committee:
The purpose of the Research Committee is to act as a clearing agent for research in continuing higher education and encourage research by members of ACHE. Additionally, the Committee provides research and conducts surveys as requested by the Association.
Resolutions
Overview of the Resolutions Committee:
The purpose of the Resolutions Committee is to develop appropriate resolutions for consideration by the Board of Directors and the membership.
Webinar Series
Overview of the Resolutions Committee:
The purpose of the Webinar Series Committee is to develop diverse programming to enrich the learning opportunities offered by the association.
