2017 ACHE MidAtlantic Regional Meeting

Degree Completion and Retention - Stopping the Revolving Door

April 5-7, 2017
Founders Inn & Spa
Virginia Beach, Virginia

Join us by the shore in Virginia Beach as we explore best practices and strategies in encouraging degree completion and improving student retention.

Keynote Speaker: Dr. Kristie Crumley

Dr. Crumley is an enthusiastic student affairs professional who works to engage students and helps them to achieve their goals. Her student-first philosophy promotes student development inside and outside of the classroom. Dr. Crumley has served in various roles at Carroll Community College in Westminster, Maryland, since 2003. After serving as Assistant Professor of Mathematics for five years, Dr. Crumley moved from the academic affairs area to the student services arena of the college. She began this new chapter as the Director of Student Life, then eventually became the Senior Director of Student Engagement and Completion, her current role. These positions include responsibility for academic advising, transfer preparation, student activities, leadership, service-learning, first-year programs, co-curricular programs, the honors program, and career development.
